Engine help required!!!!!
« on: 29 March 2009, 14:09 »
Fitted a Mk2 1.6 5 speed into my 1989 Clipper cabby. Thing is, the Mk1 5 speed gear linkage fouls on the downpipe. Is the mk1 manifold different to the mk2 one? And is the downpipe different between manual and auto models on mk1s? The car was previously a 1.8 carb auto and still retains that downpipe.
