Stay away from Falkens there are nasty. The price sounded good when I bought them but very soon wished I'd payed more for a better tyer. Terrible grip in all weather conditions scary in the wet even. I also found there was also alot of road noise with them.
The ToYo's have a hell of alot of grip and are fantastic in the wet. But my car failed it's mot last week as after about 4k the frount tyers were below the limit(also on one or two other things). I didn't even check them before the mot as I could not belive they would only last that long.
Moral other the story Kids you get what you pay for!
Try and strech you bodget and get the Goodyear Egal F1's. They are the best tyre I've used for the road. Great grip and they last.
03 210 Seat LCR. Badger5 V2.2TIP, Fordge 007p, Wellycooler, Quaife ATB LSD, Nuespeed ARB's, KW Clubsports, 330mm discs, 3" turbo back de cat and still on the standard map!

Done.

I have gone up to 195's and fitted Toyos.  I 've had a full wheel alignment done aswell.  Its a stark reminder just how important good tyres and correct goemetry are.  She's now handling how Golfs should and there is once again a huge smile on my face.     I can't believe how I let it get so shoddy.

Better stop yahooing it about though, if Toyos are as soft as everyone says
