« on: 16 March 2009, 20:52 »
Well that's what I thought till I tried it on sunday, washed the car dried it, popped down to halfords and bought a maguires kit with clay/ cloth/detail spray and polish. Well I could'nt believe the differance, bumpy paint then smooth what differance, I'm even using the 2 bucket method after years of the dreded sponge. And a picture of my other love

And a present from the wife

Claying was the best thing I did to my car 7 months ago, as you say, bumpy paintwork going to smooth as glass, it's amazing. It's due another go now, which I'm going to do in April, give it the whole 9 yards.

Be sure to polish and wax the bad boy when you next clean it though, or all your hard work will literally go to waste :(
