Well, I've owned by oil burner for about 8-9 months now and I have to say it's the best car I've ever owned.

I was absolutely gutted when I lost my beloved Focus, but as they say, every cloud has a silver lining

I average about 45-50mpg, have gone to Scotland and back on a full tank of fuel and just can't get enough of the turbo diesel tourque

Overall 9/10 - only bad point - expensive to service!

in what way?? oil, filter, air filter and fuel filter is approx £60-£70 and about an hour of your own time

or are you putting it into a garage for servicing??

I put it into an Audi garage mate. I have a mate that works there who gives me a sh*t load of discount :smug: I was just saying that on the whole when compared to other cars, it's generally more expensive to keep it on the road.

depends on the mileage you do i guess - i service mine every 10K and either do it myself or one of my mates gives me a hand

general wear and tear items can be expensive - window clips etc but in the main i've found it cheaper to keep on the road than my old MK2 Golf - at least with this car the money i spend i CHOOSE to spend rather than begrudge paying it
