What battery is the best?

Well not really to be honest, most parts can be sourced cheaper even with a little VW trade discount if your happy to use non genuine bits. Personally from my experiance with the golf, genuine bit's ain't up to much anyway, so i just as well give some otehr manufacturers a try and save a few quid at the same time!

It does help though on certain main dealer only parts. Also things like cambelts/ waterpumps/maf's etc I feel easier with using the gen bit's!

did ur battery pack in rich?

Few months ago could hear it was struggling to start got worse next few days so replaced it before it let me down 

It was the original battery - 9 years old 

definatley had good life from your original one then rich thats unreal

and another one to  tho looking at mine it looks like the original one and thats nearly 8 years old

Who is that battery made by  - Bosch or Varta? - or is it from someone else?
