TBH, I wouldnt want to head down the parrot route. I want to ensure the car has highline and a MFSW, so that I can have the OEM bluetooth installed, if it doesnt come with it - when I finally get my ED30 that is! I think its a much neater and smarter option, although probably more expensive as well!
Agreed & agreed mate.
I have a parrot kit in my A4 which is hid in the ashtray out of site. I also had the parrot kit to liven up the mfsw controls. It all works very well with voice dialing through 3 different Crackberry's, mute's radio & plays through speakers.
All voice dialing & volume control is done with the sterring wheel controls.
But yes, like you I am not a fan of having them mounted on the dash.
If the Ed30 was my wheels I would defo have the biz fitted, but wife says mfsw is not a nesses & she would be appy with a parrot kit under the ashtray flap.
You know how much mine took to hunt down & finding one to tick all the boxes is real hard, for the right money of course.
Among the extras on mine the 2 options that sold the car to me were xenons & factory pivveee glass which are expensive options to add.
Perhaps I will see what mfsw, h/line & OEM b/tooth will be. Even at £600 it makes the car still a pretty good buy.
Happy hunting bud
