Throw a set of those cams in from Awesome & then see R-Tech about a map. ;)

yeah, i bought it because it only had 40k on the clock and i do alot of miles + insurance group 10. got it for £3200 with a years mot + service which i thought was good at the time. just cud do with a bit more power and it will do for me. will i notice a 5bhp power gain from a sport cat and where can i buy one from ??

You spent £3200 you could have got a nice turbo for that

i have the 2.0 8v golf and its a 53 plate with 48k on the clock and its genuine cos the wife bought it new a few years a go now .. she bought a new golf and i took the old one .. i have a very powerful bmw too  .. 155mph limited  but i love driving the wee golf , thats why i kept it .. so dont sell it, dont put a turbo engine or 130 or 180 and so on .. you will get many years driving out of it .. many golfs on hear are round the clock and are jealous that yours has only got 40 ish.. the rear gti spoiler is only £88 plus vat from a dealer and fits perfect  as i got one the other week ...
life is simple when you drive a golf.......bmw... merc...
