Head Change for Cabriolet

Hi
I would like to upgrade my 1.8 carb to a 16v injection, is it possible to simply swap the head and the electrics, or would I need to change the entire engine?
Thanks SG

Hi Steve, easiest to change whole engine as pistons etc are different.

you have to bin your cab engine, the 16v is a different breed of animal. What most people do is get hold of a mk2 16v and gut it.
