CD Unit
« on: 14 July 2004, 13:57 »
I want to plug my old sony disk changer into the VW single disk on a 51 reg mk 4 golf.
How do you get the cd player out to connect to the disk changer!!!
Also do you have to have another plug so the sony plugs can read the VW plugs!!!
Any help would be appreciated.

there are special keys to remove the VAG stereo's. VW probably sell a plug to convert between sony and their's. maybe halfords do too?

they usually sell all those adaptors so  you can connect your afermarket headunit to the factory plugs so maybe they sell those too. I dunno. Worth a shot. Ask the stealership too.
