After some time, of working on 89 16valver gti. the next to the last thing is almost done, tweak o2 mixture,) on this ready for inspection time. replace cltuch, r.build gear box, straightening out the camber, get lights set better, (for myself).The exaughst getting welded together. & straighten out a big part of the little beast's gas miledge. the motor mounts sorted out. sh!ter rods. maybe some little odds and ends. I've not heard this car drive this quiet, since probly before I bought it 2.5 yrs ago. coming back from a friends house, about 20 min. all I heard was my sun glases vibrating & the vw roling on the road and the exaughst out the box. Maybe it is possible to teach an old dog new tricks(vw). Cheers all
