Got myself a lovely set of boolers from Wheelmania a few months ago, 7x17", 38mm offset. Went straight on no problems, but when it came to the service today, the new brake pads are pushing the caliper out that little bit further and therefore hitting the inside of the wheel. I've tried different pad manufacturers with no luck and Wheelmania are fobbing me off with 'it occurs on some cars, so we suggest fitting spacers'. Christ, if they're gonna advertise in PVW, they could at least print a disclaimer. Twunts.

Basically, all i want to know is if this has happened to anybody else and if so, did they go down the spacer route, or grind the pads?
P.S Whats the going rate for VW vented discs? I had to fork out ?70 a disc for non VW items, and they were the 'cheapest' he could find. Bollox! Half the price at Euro Car Parts i've since discovered!
Right, rant over! (I've had a bad day) Actually, no. The twunt stripped my locking wheel nut key too! How the hell they got Bosch accreditation i'll never know. It's Autobar PVS in Chester-le-Street by the way, so you know to avoid them!
