heater control flaps

hi can any one point me in the right direction have just changed my heater matrix no problems .after 20 years foam on heater flaps non existant replaced with neopreane foam stuck down with contact glue all looking good heaters working great then heat causing glue to unstik foam have tried twice to restik it what do other people use .

...neoprene foam ;) I take it yours wasn't the self adhesive backing stuff? I would just look for a high temp ~ 100 degree max, contact adhesive. I use Evostick Impact Adhesive for most things, not sure how heat resistant it is though.

no wasnt self adesive hopefully sorted with epoxy glue (araldite) only time will tell thanks for the reply

I used gaff tape on both sides. Works a treat.

metal foil tape  :wink:
