Yeah I'm trying to get a pair of decent arch trims for the back before I go to all the effort of removingthem and hammering the lip.  not as easy to find as i thought though havin real trouble sourcing a set for sensible money!

What is the generally recommended course of action for arch work - is it better to cut the lip, or roll/fold it?  As far as I know, rolling/folding it will just make it act as a water trap - but cutting it will make the arch weaker....

Which would you go for?

at the front just chop it out.  at the back its more complicated as the arches are double skinned.  rolling is ok if it gets you nough clearance, just make sure you seal the lips up proper so no moisture can get in.  If you need more clearance you need to cut them, but you have to re-seal the arches or moisture will get inside the quarter panel and rust the car from the inside out.
