selling PD130 Van aaken tuning box for ?200

Hi Guys,

As you may have seen from other threads i did have a PD130 Golf TDi as my previous chariot, this has since gone back to the fleet department, Anyway back in February i purchsed a tuning bow for it from Van aaken, This cost me ?470, it boosts torque by 20% and also pushes BHp to 165/170. I have got slips to show that my golf got 16.004 up the strip at santa pod (considering how fat and lardy the golf is thought that was quite good) anyway, took the box off, looking for ?200 for it, includes receipt and warranty until feb 05, So if you want to boost the power of your PD130 TDi without ruinind warranty then this is the ideal unit, a couple of the guys on uk mkIV site use these and testify how good they, Van aaken actually supply these though VW dealerships.

I will be listing this on ebay by end of the week, but as the box takes just 2 mins to fit or unfit, thought you guys may be interested, especially for the ones who have company cars.

PLUS PLUS, forgot to mention, this box somehow increases fuel economy, on motorway runs i could regularly see 65Mpg, i have a picture to prove it as my od man did not believe it, generally it would give 52mpg (that was caning it around down)

Is it compatible with all VAG 130PD engines ? Might try to persuade my mate who has a Seat Alhambra. Yes it's an MPV.. but with that box it should shift well

yep it is, universal to all pd130 engines, just plugs into multi plug on side of engine, and permanent live and permanent neg, fits snuggly behind the battery.  Very lively and i do miss it, 1.8t is quick but not got that low down grunt that the diesel had.
