please excuse the ignorance, but why all the fuss over the w8 ?? am i missing the point here or is it purely cosmetic ?

purely cosmetic - you get a nice red glow above the gearstick when driving at night - helps to illuminate the radio controls etc

although on a practical note the driver and passenger get individual map reading lights  :nerd:

cheers for clearing that up mate,

no worries - its the same for the Bora Vents - they are flush when closed and also the symbols light up

here's an old pic of my vents - have sinced removed my handsfree kit
