Complete and utter detailing noob...
« on: 31 January 2009, 23:13 »
So basically, picked my mk2 GTI up last week, and want to put a bit more effort into it than I did my Fiesta I had previously (for obvious reasons  ). But, all in all, the paintwork isn't in greatest nick. A few cracks, bit of rust, nothing major, but not worth spending loads on products. Basically want it to shine. So for starters, what's some good stuff to use, what order do I do it.......I know nothing lol. Secondly, how often would I need to do it. I have band practice on a sunday, and have to go down a country lane, gets a bit muddy, so could do with giving it a spongedown at least once a week...would this suffice??
Thanx,
Rich

Once you got the bug you'll end up spending loads of $$$'s
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...
