STOP displayed on clocks
« on: 26 January 2009, 11:42 »
Everynow and again my dash bleeps at me, and says STOP but only for a few seconds and it doesnt say anything else to tell me what the problem is.....
It seems to be since I fitted new 312mm discs and new pads. Ive done a search on here and people have said to make sure the brake resevoir lid is tight. I checked this and its ok. The brake fluid looks about half way.
Any ideas?

for the STOP to appear its fairly serious so its probably something ovious like sensor unplugged or intermittant connection/brake reseviour sensor unplugged/loose connection etc.........probably something ovious mate just jack it up and have a very good gander but like was said try and get it VAG-COM'd for errors etc.........

Yeah I dont know anyone with VAGCOM, although I might end up buying a lead etc. Im thinking it must be a loose connection as it only comes up briefly for a few seconds then I dont see if for a few days.
