Dust valve caps - replacements?
« on: 19 January 2009, 10:04 »
I seem to have lost one and the others have lost their colour due to the crappy weather - where's the best place to get some replacements?  Ideally I'd like to buy the same original chrome type that came with the car.

Thanks.

Best place to get them is the dealers, I got 2 sets a few weeks ago, they are only about 30p each!

Cheers for that.  Is there anywhere that sells them online?  I've searched and can only find alternative caps and my dealer isn't really local so it's a bit of a trek just for some caps...

I was looking for some as mine seemed to have been mullered when it was cleaned by whoever cleaned mine before I bought it. There's some on ebay from a particular seller but not quite right.

Am planning on going to dealers for mine.

Some people suggest spraying it.

Never buy aftermarket caps. Most will seize up and you will have to saw them off! Buy what was made for it
