Who knows what's going to be hot and what's not in 2009, but if getting your car in a mag is your goal then you're going the right way. Mags want to feature non standard cars and something with a bit of difference with subtle twists. Will yours be totally different to what they've featured before ? Possibly not, but I like the Lupo dash bit as I'm sure they will.

Of your list, I don't personally like the single headlight grille with crystal lights as I prefer the standard, double frosted ones and I'm not keen on M3 rear crystals or crystal indicators, in fact any crystal lights. There is nothing new about any of that. They've all been done to death.

Make it different to standard, get the stance right and go to as many shows as you can to get it seen and you might be surprised. I'm no mag feature expert and I've never had a car featured in a mag, but that's my thoughts.

Oh yeah, keep an eye out on vwvortex forum for some fresh ideas which might not be over here yet.

I like the standard lights, but I guess that's not what you're looking for. Best bet is to have a nosey around and see what's out there lately, maybe look at some of the available lights on Venom's website or have a look on the main page of this site (www.golfgti.co.uk) for links to other companys. Don't know if you'll already know this site, but you could have a look at the galleries on www.cleaned.be for some inspiration.
