Looking :afro: as always Illyun!

Should it have a black front badge?

Yup.. and there are as rare as hens teeth.  Can find one that easily... been looking everywhere - even old grills on ebay.

What do I win

If you supply me your badge I can get it painted for you Illyun?

The car looks great Illyun. Another few years and the MKi will be worth more than your new R32

Sorry for not replying sooner... I was away for the weekend at ny brother-in-laws engagement.  Did manage to get things done en-route to Bradford from Ipswich via Wolverhampton (gave in my BBS to A1 Wheels for repair/refurbishment) and Manchester (met up with Luca from Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk to buy his S3 intercooler at the Trafford Centre)...

Greenouse, you win kudos - and bugger all else     I did try and give you and Robin a plug and mentioned you both to Gavin from A1 Wheels.   As for having the badge painted, thanks for the offer but I am a stickler for genuine items and I am sure I'll find a badge at some point this year.  If you want, you can have the silver badge as a prize at Santa Pod

Moschops, the Campaign (run-out edition) came with all optional extras including sunroof as standard.

Hurdy, the Mk1 will definetly be worth more than the R32 pretty soon as the R32 will have rocketship miles on it in the near future - already 2000+ miles in 3 weeks

TonyD The Mk1 would probably fetch around £7-8k if it wasn't for the economic downturn... atm I am not sure what it would fetch.  Depends on whose is out there.  But medium to long term the price can only rise.
