glad you enjoy the trial, it only gets better from here! :)

as for wear, many main dealers sell our software mainly due to the extensive and comprehensive R&D work we put into it! the staff writer for VW/Audi driver magazine has had software on his mk4 gti from 60,000miles, it now has 200,000miles on it iirc and it's only just needed a turbo.

255+ is perfectly achivable as long as the car is set up correctly with good fuel

I was just like you until I tried Revo Stage 1 and lost my innocence      I'm gagging for Stage 2+ and 360 bhp but Revo haven't finished developing it for my Ed30 as yet     I've also got the Select Plus switch which I will probably use to switch between aggressive and mild settings once Stage 2+ is on... as for using it to return the car to stock?  NEVER

should have a code for you in the next week or so ;)

Winrya, stage one revo will get you to 230bhp, its no where near 260 odd.See rolling road results from JkM last year, even a standard GTi with full APR exhaust made 245bhp.

Yep, Revo Stage 2, APR TBE, Intake = 245bhp..

Thats interesting as all the tuners quote 250-260 for stage 1.  The revo website has the rr as 262.7bhp on a standard gti.  I've never seen a standard gti rr at less than 213bhp in standard form.  Apr has just adjusted theirs from 240 to 252.  Whatever the truth, the difference is staggering.  I kinda hope it is closer to 235bhp as i suspect less wear on the car at that state of form.  I'm gonna bring it on  a rr meet, so we'll see

Just been out in the rain and seeing the traction control light flashing at 70mph in 3rd is just brilliant (well kinda)

A RR will not give you your exact BHP figure, if you want that take the engine out and bench dyno it. It will give you a good comparison for before and after mods though if used on the same dyno i.e. a rr gives you 210 stock and 230bhp after remap = 20bhp increase so good gain (although, again, not necessarily accurate) All RR gives different readouts and the amount of variables involved (temp, petrol, mileage etc etc) will never give you a 100% acurate reading.

The point is though you are happy with the increase and feel of the car! Thats what makes the spend worth it, the BHP figure is just something to brag about down the pub! Start chasing BHP figures and you will lose alot of £££, as long as you enjoy it then it doesn't matter whether you get an extra 5bhp or 50bhp

Now if its as sunny as it is here i hope your out using it!!!
