My advice, if you're buying from a stealer wait until the end of the month, they need to hit targets so will drop their pants for deals,

I'm sure I remember reading a review of the Mk5 GTI in VW Driver magazine backed in 2005 when it was first launched.  They said it totally 'troucned the Mk4 1.8T' and was quicker than the Mk4 R32!
