19mm wheel brace?
« on: 15 December 2008, 00:05 »
A bit of a random question - I've realised the locking wheel nuts fitted to my car are 19mm bolts compared to the 17mm for the other 12 bolts!

So to save me paying out loads for another socket wrench, I thought I could probably pick up a 19mm wheel brace from another car in the scrapyard, anyone know which ones would be appropriate donors?

Thanks

Tom

Get one of these. It has a 17/19mm top on it, plus extending ratchets can be a godsend. But remember, don't extend the bar when tightening - you'll end up over-torquing the bolts.

Transporters all run 19mm nuts/studs.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
