Do i buy or do i not buy

hi everybody
im a newbie on here and am looking around at mk1 gti's!! i have a few old cars but this will be my first vw.

ive found one near me and the bodywork looks in good condition however id like peoples thoughts on what it will take to get the rest of the car in good condition??

im not wanting to make into show condition but i would like it in pretty good order i.e. no rust and a good paint job and tidy engine bay! i also fancy a 2L with coilovers to make it handle better so its not going to be taken back to original state!

hi fella it really just depends if you got the time and money
to finish that mk1 looks good from pics aslong as the seals and
and there no major work needed and depends on your skills with cars
im know mechanic but like to have a go doing some bits still learning as
i go along ive had mine for short while its only a 1.3 tho but if i was
you for that money think that cud be a bit of a bargain m8 over
wise keep hunting and your find what your after for sure
