just thought id mention i got a new clutch fitted today on 1.8t gti

one of my best buys so far, my clutch was slipping so i thought i might aswell cough up a bit more money and get the

performance upgrade!! I'd recommend this clutch to anyone thinking of upgrading, the feel of the car is so much more responsive

and it kicks in like a beauty from stationary, stalled a few times getting used to it ,but well chuffed!!! :smiley:

ECS Stage 1 Clutch Kit (228mm)  5 Speed with lightened flywheel-awesome gti.co.uk  -

£275, then i paid 200 for fitting aswell.costly but well worth it

Hmmm, I need to get my clutch + flywheel replaced - may look into this!

i went with the 14 lb fly wheel
