Congratulations, the Mk5 GTI is one hell of a car... by the way, watch out for someone called Hurdy as he might use his Jedi mind tricks to get you to mod your car. It happenned to me, an innocent Mk5 Edition 30 owner who one day woke up to find his standard car with a Stage 2 remap, host of suspension mods, aftermarket fuel pump, exhaust etc... and be careful as he might send Red Robin to do the job for him. 
and then you'ill probably end up with a Quaife LSD too

And yes the modding bug is impossible to avoid! I don't even have a GTI, just a lowly 1.4 and the bug hit me instantly
