abf dizzy is no good as its fixed position, so you cant spin it into de right spot on a kr.
MK3 1.0/1.3 SPI dizzies also have no vac advance in, but the Polo boys say they wont work on a GT properly?  I cant see why since as you say it has no advance inside it? :undecided:

yeah the abf dizzy just has 2 round holes in it, kr has sloty shaped holes :)

ummm   thats on the list of things to check more thourghly when can be arsed list then. 
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
