16v mk1 cabby

ive got a cabby now after sellin my mk2 20vt n its soo slow!!!! :sad: does any1 know where i could get a 16v gti lump dropped in my mk1 cabrio and what sort of price im looking at?????? its a 1.8 carb atm

well my 20vt was costin me like 60-80 quid a week in fuel n i jus couldnt afford to keep spendin that much  :cry: if i was stil gettin overtime at work it wouldnt of botherd me but there's none!!!! tbh i think im just gonna get this one running spot on then sell it in april when the insureance runs out, and by then hopefully the ot will have picked up n i can either get another mk2 20vt or a mk4 for a change

ye i was thinking that. its a really clean example aswel, jus need to sort the timing and the auto choke. mite see if i can get it in pvw  :grin:
