my yella mk1!!!
« on: 22 November 2008, 20:32 »
hey people, been on here for a while now, but more of a reader than a poster! did have a mk2 gti 8v, but that is now sold.
so i ended up buying this off a mate in work........

bit of a shame really, he was waitin to pull into work when some dizzy bint in a fiesta piled into the back of him! bloody ford drivers!!

anyway, to cut a long story short, i bought it, and banged it on the jig in work, took a bit of pulling to get it straight again...

got it all straight, and fitted a new rear panel....

gave it a full strip down before going over everything in white primer...

and this is how it looks now....

and with my mates

just really need some deep rims now!!
this project was started 5 weeks ago, all the work done by myself except the paint application.
more pics can be found here http://eviltuner-com.forums-free.com/ but think you have to sign up to get to the projects section, so bloody sign up, cos eviltuner needs you!!!  sorry its me new website, hope you dont mind the plug!!!!!

thanks for lookin. all comments welcome

Why go for yellow? Didn't you think about keeping it the original colour?
