Ah, well on mine the leak was where the fuel hose joins the rail. You couldn't really see the leak, just smell it. Sometimes the fuel rail would look darker around that area, like it was wet, but didn't feel wet to touch.
The fuel rail is a bit fiddly to remove with the inlet manifold in place but can be done. I found getting it back in to be the hardest bit. I suppose it would be as good a time as any whilst you're messing about in that area though.
