Machine Polish
« on: 20 November 2008, 19:55 »
Hi guys,
I'm going to give the old valver a serious going over and have a plan set in place.
Reading previous threads alot of people have recommended getting the car done over proffesionally first and then keeping on top of it rather than just going at it by hand.

What do you think?

Put in the manual labour and try to get the desired finish or hand it over to the pros?

Also, how much do you think it would be for a pro to give it a machine polish?

Cheer guys.

I think personally i would put the effort in myself it will be worth it when you have done.

If you fancy paying a pro to do it then here's a link to a thread on edition38, dave at superior shine is doing paint correction for £125 within a 100 mile radius of stoke on trent.

Cheers Nick, so you think I could get the same result with a hell of alot of elbow grease?

If so then I'd agree with ya and try it myself......just wasn't sure if you could get the same result by hand?

You will get the car nice and shiny by hand but i think if you want to get rid of swirls and scratches then you will need it machine polishing, it depends how far you want to go with the finish really and how much you want to spend.

Check out some of the work on here and you will see what i mean!
