right what do i need to be doing to protect my paint this winter

The deep and the fine cut are just different types of polish.

Deep cut corrects the paintork from swirls scratches etc then you go over with the fine cut to refine the finnish. Its more for machine polishing.

I very much doubt you would see the difference if your just polishing by hand so your SRP is fine.

phew, my best mate has a brand new machine polisher, just waiting to be used    ...only problem she won't let me

srp is very good stuff, i use it then 2X of jetseal 109 and then one of butter wet wax
