Just thought i'd boast about the fantastic quote i've just got for my Golf.

2001, 59,000 miles, 1.8T(150bhp), im 25, 6 years NCB.........

Guess how much???











Well, if i didnt have No Claims Protection & Legal Cover then £280!!!......  With these added i've only paid £350!!  Is that a bargain or what?? 

I'd be pretty pee'd off if i were you!

Recently got quoted £696 for a Golf Turbo which I thought was very reasonable. Just had a quote with my missus on the insurance shes 21 with 3 years ncb and it went down to £516. 

Makes sense having her on then ecspecially when its cheaper and just incase she does need to drive it although I dont think im gonna have many nails left if she does.

My mk2 with a 1.8t engine will cost less than that and it will be quicker, Jealous?

  erm well i had a quote yesterday for a mk2 1.8t running 240bhp and its gonna cost me £1200, 24 with 1 years no claims.  it will be worth it,

had a mk4 1.8t when i was 19 and had a couple of mk2's, so now gonna combine the 2 and have the best of both

Indeed they do. Having been driving for 19 years i think i deserve a cheap quote
