1st drive in 2 months

hi guys not been on here for a while as ive been working in ireland   

but today and despite the rain i took the mk1 for a spin AND FOOK ME WHAT A MOTOR     

id forgotten what its like to drive, its like having a new mk1 again ha ha

cant wait to take me sister to stevenage, im trying to hurry her up so we can get going

im like a dog with two tails 

mk1s are the mutts nuts, such a giggle to drive after running around in a battered transit in ireland

I'm trying to remember the circumstances but I do recall not driving for about 4-5 weeks because everything was in walking distance. It felt wierd to drive my own car, especially at that point I'd had it only a few months. That was a fezza so it wasn't very exciting.

When I drove my Mk3 after it was off the road for 9 months it felt strange to drive. It was like I was driving a car for the first time again. Made driving fun and new for about half an hour. (until I hit some traffic and got road rage)

I just drove my MK1 after picking it up , came storming up behind a white new shape rocco , he didnt know what to do

yep know what you mean i came up behind an a4 ragtop and had a tt ragtop behind me

they didnt half get a shock when the road cleared and i floored it 

sorted mk1s are just uber cool

Oh, I am going to be positively Orgasmic then as I haven't driven the cab for over a year

I've got a Mk2 but I would love to drive the Mk1, especially the GTI, mmmm
