abf 16 valve into mk2 driver

as above how much of a job is this to do
the car the abfs giong into is a 1991 1.3 liter driver
any info would be a lot of help thanks

All depends on how much you buy the parts for and if you are doing the work or if a mechanic is doing the work. So I guess you might have asked how long is a piece of string, and the answer still would have been as clear as mud.

Only being truthful 

Check Ebay for parts and the Engine parts for sale in the Classified section on the forum (there's a 16V KR going for around £600 in Yorkshire, although it's not an ABF) remember you'll have to uprate the brakes, so that means a 256mm or 280mm conversion too. Bigger Master cylinder. Probably a PAS setup too.

Best thing you could do is get yourself a donor car, rear ended ofc so that there is no damage to the engine

thats not a good answer?! (p.s. a piece of string is twice as long as it is from one end to the middle)

go and find a seat tolado,ibiza, or any with said engine.    don't bother with accident damaged ones that seems to make them worth more,  just have a lookk at listings for  motor auctions and tip up at one with a few hundred quid.    the donor car for my conversion cost me £250  it had mot and few days tax left when i bought it.   only things wrong with it was a blowing exhaust and the air con didn't work very well.

that way you get to insure the car for a week and rag it about  or take it to get a dyno run done  so you know if the engine is good before you fit it  and and your quite likely to find any issues  that need attention so they can be sorted when the engine is out,   said cars also come with loads of other usefull bits  they really should be called conversion kits

im useing the 16 valver at the moment for a runaround
so ive got everthing i need i hope just need to what bits
i need of it for the conversion wont be getting it done by someone
else its going to be my all my own work
