Hello,

is your 1.8T 20v DBW? if it is then you could get the Alientech Powergate s self remapping tool. which can hold upto 3 map files. std, spec 1 2 or 3.  or there is the SRS for the ME7.5 ECU found in the 1.8t dbw.

Both tools are around £300 -£400 with 2 remapped files. There are a few companies around selling these tools.

Revo offer the Select Plus switch unit aswell. dont know about the price.  you could always contact carl > http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21403

Or if your not worried about switching and changing the maps then a good old OBD remap will put a big grin on your face for sure.
