have seen a picture of a golf with mini alloys fitted but cant remember wether it was in a mag or a forum and it didnt state wether wheels had to be machined/spacered to fit

They mini steels? What did you have to do to get them on? Mew mentioned earlier that the bore was different?

It's not my car, just saved the pic as it was Oak green! I think you DO have to open up the centre bore a smidge, but I could be wrong. I'll see if I can find out for you mate.  :wink:

Think I have seen a 6n Polo running 17" Mini wheels on PH. I also have a Cooper S with the 17's.....if it was dry now I would have gone & tried them for fit.

I have just taken my alloys off for winter & added G60 steels with flush centre caps.....looks tidy due to the drop I am running.
