Clutch cable
« on: 27 September 2008, 17:51 »
Just had new clutch fitted and when in 5th gear clutch starts to slip. It has one off these self adjusting clutch cables on it how do you over ride it to re adjust for having a new clutch?

Will be looking to get manually adjustable cable - where do i get these from?

Mk3 golf 1.9TD AAZ eng code 1997

Any help/ assistance would be appreciated

cheers

Davie

if its had a new clutch the cable should get done at the same time as the adjuster only works 1 way....time for a new one (£35-45 for the self adjuster or if you earch you can get a manual one for £20-25)
