MK2 1.8T questions for those already converted.
« on: 02 November 2006, 12:34 »
Guys after some information from some dubbers who have a MK2 1.8T conversion.

1) What was the general cost of the conversion?

2) Was the conversion self done or done by a recommended tuning house?

2) What kind of MPG are you seeing with the conversion?

3) Is the MK2 reliable post conversion to use as an everyday car?

4) Have you used the 20VT clocks and ECU or gone aftermarket ECU with MK3 dash or Mk2 dash.

Thanks

ive spoken to tsr performance today about this the conv starts at around 4750  thats fora 180bhp lump with less than 40,000 miles on it the prices go to around the 6k mark but you could have a 220bhp car for that price they give the engine a god full service including new cm belt sport clutch and new water pump they would require the car for around 2 to 4 weeks and may offer you a small discount for running kr engines www.tsr-performance.co.uk for more info i know im certinley going to start saving looks lik fun lmao
