my speedo stopped working

i been told either cable broke, cable snapped or speed is broke.

cable not snapped so that counts that out, and when we looked it wasnt loose.

guna get a cable tomorrow or thurs. how hard/easy are they to fit?

do you have a GTI?  If so check the distance travelled/avg speed settings on the MFA.  If these work its the speedo thats bust, if not the cable is at fault.  Also if you take the clocks out and drive it, you should see the square peg in the end of the speedo cable spin as you drive
