ah yeh had my rear plastic side panel off today cos speaker was crackling. Took it off only to find the prev owner had crappy kenwood speakers fitted must of been all of £20. So i need new speakers. They hav taped wires and just left the tweeter out. So nice speakers with tweeters n crossovers required. Any ideas.

You can buy upgrade kits that inc the tweeters got to your local ice centre and ask.

Ive got pioneer upgrade cost me £80 IIRRC  :smiley:

do u just mean new speakers? I have seen sum alpine RD ones sound gud aswell

No speakers and tweeters  :wink: Alpine are very good.

Infinity are quality speakers used to have a lovely set in my mk1 many years ago
