3 weeks ago i bought a mint 88 golf GTI 8v for ?150, its a special equipment version, now last night my dad bought a 1.3 golf GTI lookalike for ?20 quid with big bumpers killa speakers and all the stuff that mine hasnt got!!!

i must be one of the luckyiest golf GTI owners alive!!

Any1 else stumbled accross deals better than mine???

got given a '86 gti 5dr by my dad. wasn't too bad. engine was good, etc. I just wanted a 3dr and one came along.

is it the one in your picture? thats a cool car. The 1.3 i just got has an subura turbo bonnet vent i was thinking of taking it off and putting it on mine, although mine isnt a turbo yours looks like it is, what engine did you put in it?

my engine is a TT one and I'm taking the car in tomorrow to have it put in.
