Each to their own

the reason i went for 17's is to have a 45 profile, as 18's you have 40.
If or when i do lower the car then the bumps and pot holes wont hurt my ar$e so much
Also as you can see the golf has 5 doors, so im a family man and the misses and kid always moan when i modify suspension  :undecided:

The wheels only cost £201 including tyres , another reason for purchasing

I personally think 18's look the best, but I just didn't like the ride quality/the way the car 'felt' with them on.  I've only ever tried 225/40 18 & 205/55 16's, tho, & am itching to try some 17's on either 215/45 or 225/45's.

I really fancy some 17" OZ Superleggeras.
