Thanks Manu, the shops names would be appreciated. I could get my pal to check it out.
I had joined the forum before the recent crash- but my (few) posts and threads have vanished  :smiley:

You are from JHB right?

I would suggest trying Autostyle. They have a large amount of quality speakers and amplifiers and can also do installs. They are based in JHB. I beleive they also have a website.

Yup, am from JHB. I have tried Autostyle, however they do not stock JL products. In fact very few places have the stuff- and it is crazy money! If the price is converted directly it is double the price in the States and more.

I have found a store that is (relatively) more reasonable. I will try them out.
