Hatchback Boot Adjustment

Hi All,

Recently my wife was hit from behind at an intersection and damage was done to the rear hatch which was repaired.

The rear hatch does not close as easily as it used to, and needs a reasonable amount of force to close.

Can anyone advise how easy it is to adjust the mechanism so the boot will close easier?

sounds like it not been fixed properly and needs to go back to the garage to have the problem fixed properly
