Fusebox and heated seats...
« on: 29 September 2008, 20:58 »
Hi guys,

having a bit of trouble wiring up my new leather heated seats (btw best £265 I have ever spent!)....I'm having difficulty getting access to the back of the fusebox and don't want to force it, I should be undoing the clips on either side, a kind of white plastic???

Presuming I eventually get access to the back to put the wires in, does anyone know which where the wires heated seats go? I would take a pic but obviously cant get access to it to get a decent pic and my search of the internet and my Haynes hasn't given much help (i freely admit I might well be being a bit retarded)!

Cheers guys!

once youve uncliped it, the fuse box should just lift up off them hooks. Mine took a bit of force to get it up and off!

once i got mine off i couldnt really get good enough access to the back as there wasnt enough slack in the cables!

the easiest way to wire them is probably to bypass the fuse box and wire in your own inline fuse to the switch and 12v or however it works??
