con policy with elephant. I want to now change. Partly due to the renewal popping through the letterbox with the grand discount of...

So any ideas how to move on? Been looking at websites profusely over the last few days and cant get the quote to reduce:

1 years NCB (ish).
No accidents within last 5 years.
2 SP30's (in 2003, five years old, the last one of which 'runs out' this October).
Good postcode (I think - rural Hertfordshire).
Only Social, Domestic and Pleasure - I dont commute.
Only 8000 miles per year.

Does this sound fair? One annoying point is that my tiny village where no-one has even heard of the term "crime" has a Stevenage postcode, where the inhabitants will almost certainly have heard the term before. Is there anyway of getting insurers to recognise my location better?
Parked on a private driveway all day.
Ill bite the bullet if I need too and I accept its a group 17 car (which IS lots of fun
