Should make your car handle a little better around corners. I heard Eibach make well balanced springs that aren't too firm but firm enough to make a noticeable difference to handling.

I see the 1.8 16v uses the same springs as the 1.6D and TD... are the D and TD engines that much heavier than petrol?

I got mine fitted at Elite Tyres in Rainham, they have excellent service and they supply and also fit. You might need your camber adjusting once your springs are in. I got Eibach Shocks and spring from them, and the car handles really well. Although its a 30mm drop.
