ECU Question

Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to send your ecu to be diagnosed?

Has anone had this done?
and if you have how much were any repairs?

depends whats wrong.... normally a vagcom scan would show any engine faults but if your sure the ecu is faulty try bba reman (google time)

I have an earth fault to the crankshaft sensor, but its with the ecu.

Its been cutting out recently, but have had a different earth to the sensor for the last 10months and its been running fine.

I think its something else aswell. Dont really have the money to get the ecu fixed at the moment.
