Boot Popper

just wondered if anyone could tell me the best way to put on a boot popper on my mk4 golf as i am smoothing the tailgate. i know you can use a universal kit but i would really like to know if anyone produces s kit specifically for it or whether i could put on a genuine one off a mk4 and get a 3 button key fob to operate it or wire it into a switch.

Probably be best going to a scrapyard and seeing what you can find, get a full boot mech and get the key programmed for it might find the loom for it is there already

i've just spoken to volkswagen and they told me that the bora has the boot mechanism but just wondered if anyone could tell me whether they would fit on the mk4 golf
